The hypnotic state is natural for us. Most of us daydream at some point in our daily life and what we don’t realise that this is the first in the levels of trance where we drift from being alert to a different level of consciousness. We often do this when driving especially on the motorway and reach a constant speed. Our mind may drift off and our unconscious takes over though if the need arises such as the need to change lanes or slow down our conscious mind will come back into play. You may think ” I don’t do that” but has there been times when you have reached where you are going and think that was quick or you find you have missed your turn off? Driving is just one of the automatic things that we do.
